ABOUT ELISABETH
I am a mathematics PhD who is passionate about undergraduate mathematics education. I Received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and French from Wheaton College in 2014. I went on to receive my Master's degree in Pure Mathematics from Northern Illinois University in 2016 and my PhD from North Carolina State University in 2021.

I hope to find a mathematics community where I can engage in the lives of my students and colleagues through effective teaching and active involvement in the campus community.

My Christian faith influences every aspect of my life, including how I view and interact with my students. My career goal is to be part of a math department where I can encourage students in their academic journeys by providing them with interesting and engaging undergraduate instruction. I want to foster excellence in order that my students may become effective influencers for the betterment of society.

When I’m not working, I enjoy gardening, hiking with my husband and daughter, doing puzzles, painting, and drinking good coffee!
